Japan Airlines Baggage Allowance:
Carry-On Baggage Allowance:
- One piece of carry-on: 55 x 40 x 25 cm (22 x 16 x 10 in)
 - Plus one small personal item (e.g., handbag, laptop bag).
 - Weight limit: Total weight for both items must not exceed 10 kg.
 - Note: If your carry-on does not meet these requirements, it may be checked into the hold.
 
Carry-On and Musical Instruments:
- Small musical instruments (total dimensions under 115 cm, or 100 cm on aircraft with fewer than 100 seats) may be carried as carry-on luggage.
 - Larger instruments can be carried if a seat is purchased and a special fee is paid.
 - Multiple smaller instruments (e.g., violins) can be placed on the same seat, provided the total width does not exceed 43 cm.

 - Maximum bag size: 203 cm (79.9 in) total dimensions.
 - Domestic flights:
- 1 bag up to 20 kg (45 kg for First Class) free of charge.
 - Maximum dimensions: 50 x 60 x 120 cm.
 
 - Infant Baggage Allowance:
- An infant not travelling in their own seat is allowed the same baggage allowance as the accompanying adult, but each bag must not exceed 203 cm in total dimensions.
 - A stroller or child seat may be checked for the infant, free of charge.
 
 
Excess Baggage Fees:
- Additional bags: 20,000 yen (200 USD) per extra piece on flights between Japan, Asia, India, Oceania, North/Central/South America, Europe, Russia (Moscow), Middle East, and Africa.
 - Overweight bag fees:
- Between 23 kg and 32 kg: 10,000 yen (100 USD).
 - Between 32 kg and 45 kg: 60,000 yen (600 USD).
 
 - Oversized bag: 20,000 yen (200 USD).
