HOW TO PACK GOLF
- To ensure your golf clubs are well-protected during shipping, it’s recommended to use a freight-approved hard travel case. If such a case is not available, a sturdy double-walled cardboard box can also be used.
- You can easily find specially sized boxes for golf club shipping online. Measure your closed golf bag and choose the shortest box it will fit into.
- To provide additional protection, use padding material like towels or bubble wrap to cover the heads of drivers. You can also use bubble wrap and tape to protect the shaft if desired.
- Once your clubs are packed securely in your golf bag, consider using a smaller bag to fit within the standard shipment size of 120 cm.
- You can also remove side pockets to reduce the overall size.
- When you’re ready to ship, book your collection with GetMyParcel and print out your labels. Place your golf bag in the freight-approved hard travel case or cardboard box and include a backup label.
- Cover the box securely using tape that doubles back on itself and reinforces the edges.
- Attach your labels to the front of the package and include any necessary customs documentation for your destination.
- When waiting for collection, ensure someone is available to hand over your golf clubs to the collection agent.
- You can track the parcel through our page and find your golf club’s location.

How to measure the Golf

What is volumetric weight?
Our pricing policy is based on the package’s actual or volumetric weight, whichever is greater. For instance, if you are shipping a box with dimensions of 50cm x 50cm x 50cm, its maximum volume would be calculated as length x breadth x weight/5000, which in this case would be 25kg. Therefore, even if the actual weight of the box is less than 25kg, you will be charged for 25kg. In another scenario, if your box has a volumetric weight of 25kg but contains an item weighing 30kg, you will be charged for the actual weight of 5kg instead of the volumetric weight of 25kg.
